About Jaegerson

Jaegerson Miniature pinschers are a small select kennel located in Worcestershire England, breeder and exhibitor of kennel club registered pedigree miniature pinschers and owned by me Susan James.

I always had a dog from a very young age and owned a pony, attending many pony club events. When I left home, I bought my first Dobermann from Margaret Woodward and started showing I purchased a second Dog called ‘Connor’, Ch Chaanrose Don’t Crowd me at Jaegerson from Rosie Lane and this is when showing dogs started to become my passion and hobby, ‘Connor’ became the Top winning Dobermann UK and Ireland and  Top stud dog. I went onto breed several champions under the Jaegerson Affix, my direction and focus has never changed breeding for health and temperament, ensuring the welfare of my dogs is the most important focus of my life.

I made the decision to own a smaller more manageable breed for my later years in life as the Dobermann breed needed a lot of exercise and would be too strong, I researched the miniature pinscher and they have offered everything I was looking for, they have that clean outline with the Dobermann smart appearance and they are certainly not a handbag dog, being a very active intelligent fun-loving breed, quick to learn and excel in the world of agility. They are known to being a health breed

I purchased my first miniature pinscher ‘Perri’ from Chris Briggs and ‘Gracie’ from Pat Quinn in Ireland, both these beautiful girls won in the show ring and produced for me. ‘Gracie’ Schanco Here I am at Jaegerson produced multi winning Champions she was awarded the UK TOP MINIATURE PINSCHER BROOD BITCH 2023 and 2024 her two daughters have been awarded the bitch CC at Crufts 2023 CH Jaegerson Code Red and 2024  CH Jaegerson Cracks the Code. Mr Darcy CH Jaegerson Dressed to Impress JW is still winning CC from veteran and took Reserve best Veteran in Show at Blackpool 2024

The new youngster to the show team is ‘Edge’ CH Jaegerson The Edge JW he is from Jaegerson Rouge Matin, he is still only young and certainly making his mark in the show ring, winning the RCC at Crufts 2024 and gaining his title of champion

Exhibiting and breeding Is my passion and lifelong commitment to the breed, it’s a hobby and I get satisfaction from breeding and showing beautiful dogs, keeping within the guidelines of the Royal kennel club breed standard. This is not a commercial enterprise, when planning a litter, I breed for top quality, healthy confident, sociable dogs being raised in a home environment, wellbeing of all my dogs is at the forefront of this kennel. My dogs have been raised and bred in a loving and caring home environment shown with pride and love.

My dogs have been patella tested with 0:0 results, the miniature pinscher is a health breed to keep the breeding programme on track I believe the dogs should be patella tested and scored by a professional qualified vet. My policy is to never knowingly breed from dogs or bitches with serious and proven health problems, and will never compromise on character just to breed a good-looking show dog.

Puppies available to show and pet homes, older puppies and adult dogs available occasionally, bred from top quality UK, European and American bloodlines. All potential homes would be vetted before being considered to own one of my beautiful miniature pinschers.

I am a qualified level 4 professional dog groomer and as you will read dogs is very much part of my life and lifelong commitment to the world of dogs over many years of working training and handling these beautiful animals.
